A.L. Freedman Company was established in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1906. The company specialized in commercial roofing, waterproofing and sheet metal fabrication. Over the years the company grew to become one of the largest and most respected contractors in the Northeast. A.L. Freedman Company always stood as a symbol of excellence both in terms of its quality of work and how it treated its customers.

This tradition is carried on today in the consulting field. Our staff has over 70 years combined experience in all types of roofing, waterproofing, wall coatings and general construction knowledge. Since 1995 we have provided these services to a large number of well-satisfied customers in Southwest Florida.

We provide our consulting services to a variety of sectors from commercial, industrial, condominium to general contractors and architects.

Jim Freedman's experience includes working as a roofer, project superintendent, working for manufacturers of roofing products, product development and testing and consulting. Mr. Freedman teaches five State of Florida approved courses on construction to property managers. Mr. Freedman holds a degree in Business Administration.

Tom Randol has been involved in roofing for over 25 years. Tom worked for one of Southwest Florida’s premier roofing contractors. Starting by working on the roof, Tom working his way up to foreman, then project superintendant to eventually becoming Vice President of the company. In that capacity Tom successfully ran the Ft Myers branch office for many years. Mr. Randol holds a Florida State Certified Roofing Contractors License and has a degree in business administration.
